FSJ Make Amazing Happen Blog Hop

Welcome to the Journey Blog Hoppers Make Amazing Blog Hop!  I’m so happy to have you hopping along!

If you have arrived from Glenda Calkins’ blog, you’re on the right track!  If not, that’s ok too!  Just continue the hop and you will come full circle!

I would like to share with you this adorable treat box that will hold a variety of small items.  The Fun Stampers Journey Printed Paper does all the decorative work for me.  I just need coordinating card stock, a little twine or ribbon and a tag.  This little box is easy to create and is sure to create a smile, too.

The finished dimensions of this box is 3 3/4 long by 1 1/4 wide by 3/4 tall.  You can create two boxes from one 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of card stock and get enough printed paper to make at least 10 (more if you don’t put paper on the bottom) from a 12 by 12.  If you would like a video showing how to mass produce this project and how to cut the paper, just leave a comment to let me know.

Here are the measurements for this treat box:

Card stock – 4 3/4 by 6 3/4

score on the 6 3/4 side at 3/4, 1 1/2, 5 1/4, 6; score on the 4 3/4 side at 3/4, 2, 2 3/4, 4

Printed paper – 2 pieces – 1 1/8 by 3 5/8; 3 pieces – 5/8 by 3 5/8; 2 pieces 5/8 by 3 5/8

scrap card stock for tag

View this video to learn how to create the box.

Here is the template for the treat box.  The red lines are where to cut, black lines to fold on, orange numbers are the dimensions of the printed paper, purple numbers are the scoring measurements, follow the green arrows for printed paper that has an up or down element to it (like the flowers in the top picture).

  1. I would like a video showing how to mass produce these darling boxes. My grandaughter loves to make little things to give to her friends. Thank you for sharing
